I work on the Mcminiatures in three batches of six. This week it’s 6 Apple Pie Trees, 6 Officer Big Mac climbers and 6 Officer Big Mac statues. I am slowly chipping away at getting all the orders out. Thanks again everyone for your patience.

Just picked up this Burger King “Snuffy - Fire Safety Brigade” PSA on 8mm film.

This doesn’t appear to be anywhere online - other than a :30 second clip. But this is a Whooper™ at 15 minutes long!

I pulled out a few feet of it to get an idea of what it may be - and only saw Snuffy and a few kids. Fingers crossed that the rest of the Burger King crew shows up in it later!

I dropped it off this morning to a local photography place to have them convert it to a digital copy. Should be back to me in a month. I will then post this long lost gem to my YouTube channel. Can’t wait!

As a long time fan of this forgotten gem of a cartoon character, I’m not sure how I feel about this?

On one side, I kinda liked it when he was pretty obscure and unknown by most.

My office wall of random bits and baubles is getting kinda full.

My office wall of random bits and baubles is getting kinda full.

Just *some* of the things that happened in 2025. In no particular order

1. Took in and nursed back to health a stray and hungry kitten we found living in an engine block of a pickup truck. He is now a permanent resident to our growing menagerie of animals.

2. Revisited the Quisp plaque I made 13 years ago and made an improved mold and more castings.

3. Started a big job of making a bunch of jumbo action figures for a comic store window display (more coming soon).

4. Met my YouTube hero and mentor - Crafsman. As well as Crafsmama and all the CrafsKids. The best family ever!

5. Did a bunch more fiberglass statue restorations, delivered them and picked up more.

6. Got an atypical job making miniature Generac Generators. Who saw that coming? More coming in ’26.

7. Was featured in the local paper.

8. Continued cranking out McMiniatures non stop. Will it ever end?

9. Had another hungry and pregnant stray cat come take refuge in my workshop. Got her healthy. Found a home for her kittens, and then she left us. Ungrateful!

10. (Not pictured) Had a wonderful weekend in Phoenix with my lovely wife Tina. She immediately started making plans on how we could possibly move there. Maybe?

11. And so much more. Looking forward to continuing this crazy train in ’26! Choo Choo!!! I have a lot more fun stuff in the works, so stay tuned.

13 years ago, I made two fiberglass plaques of Quisp before the mold broke down. The other day I took the mold out and got what I could from it and then cleaned up the casting and made a new mold. Watch my video to see the whole process.

I always enjoyed looking at the TCF clock outside of the banks when I was a wee li’l child for some reason.

So I was pretty happy to find this ceramic bank version of it for $6 today at a small junk shop in the middle of nowhere South Dakota.

Fun fact: After the sign gave the temperature in Fahrenheit- it would then give it in Celsius. But I didn’t know what Celsius even was back then. I just saw a number with a letter C after it and I thought it meant “cents”.

So then if it said something like “22 c” i figured that meant that that’s how off their drawer was for the day. Not sure how I ever came to that conclusion, especially as a young kid. But I think it would be a good practice to do.

Another batch of Hamburger patches are done. It takes about 24 individual little parts internally, like gears and cams and springs, that I have to keep sorted in individual little bins. Very time-consuming and tedious work. #mcdonaldland

He also has a big warp to him so he doesn’t lay flat. My favorite part about this is that they made a point to paint in the little pink corners of his eyes.#mcdonaldland

Sometimes it’s the simplest solutions that you stupidly overlook. For years, I would paint my McDonald’s miniatures on these little wooden dowel things I made. But the issue was they would constantly spin around as I was painting them. I finally had the idea to just use rolled up cardboard and a piece of insulation foam with holes drilled in it to hold them while they dry. I’m kicking myself for not thinking of this obvious solution years ago.

Something I’ve been working on for a while now in the background is this radio controlled Fisher-Price style car. It’s 3 1/2 times larger than the original little people toy. I used the F-P transistor radio as an inspiration for the remote. A few more tweaks to the internal parts and I should be able to actually start making em.

Does anyone here know what this is from? I know it’s the Colorforms mascot kid, I think his name is Charlie. But I can’t find where this exact piece came from. It’s about 3 inches tall , made of hard plastic and has 2 removable compartment on his back. I think he has been spray painted purple, as you can see he was originally pink. I have only found 3-D print files of him in this style, but this was definitely injection molded. #advertisingmascots #colorforms

I got pretty slammed this summer with restoration jobs and other fabrication jobs for clients and haven’t had much time to fulfill back orders on the miniatures. But now that it’s coming to an end of restoration season, I’ve been back at it on the minis. Apologies to everyone, but I am getting the orders out as quickly as I can. Six Ronalds will go out on Monday and I have a batch of.Officer Big Mac climbers going out pretty soon as well. And I have a few other batches in mid-completion.

Some will take off any business markings, whereas others will put on a fake business or even their own business.

I think if I were to convert a U-Haul - I would decorate it like this. Just for fun.
